Baby

Baby is an answer to prayers. After a hearbreaking loss, she came right along ready to fill a void in our family. We'd had to wait four years to have her join us, but it was so worth the wait.

We'd hoped for a little girl with dark hair and dark eyes like the teacher and Jare. She was born with a full head of black hair and nearly black eyes.

We'd hoped for a fearless little girl with a sweet heart like Boose. Baby was born with a smile on her lips and a willingness to try anything.

We'd hoped she'd have an inventiveness and charming quality like Bal. Together, they can con anyone out of anything.

We'd hoped she'd get along with the former Baby, Nod. They are best friends and he teaches her everything he knows and watches out for her always.

She's a daddy's girl through and through. I don't mind, because she's the first who was so wholly attached to the teacher, and he deserves at least one. She knows when he's on the way home. She loves to listen to him play the piano, play the guitar, or just sing. They roll around and wrestle together all the time.

Dada was her first word, and it is still the one she loves the most.

She does like Mama too and we have a blast at home while the other kids traipse of to school.

Baby is a gigantic blessing for our family. We wouldn't have been complete without her.
